"THE GREATEST GIFT THAT YOU HAVE TO GIVE IS THE GIFT OF YOUR OWN SELF-TRANSFORMATION."
For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated by medicine. After years of struggling with my health, I turned to a more natural approach, and it was Chinese Medicine that not only took me to the next level of wellness, but also inspired me to pursue the art of acupuncture. For the past ten years it has been my mission to learn as much as possible about eastern and functional medicine, to understand the harmony between east and west. I am particularly interested in digestive health, detoxification, women's health and autoimmunity. My approach is to not just see the illness, but the person as a whole experiencing the symptoms. While illness can be one of our greatest challenges, it is also our greatest teacher, and the biggest gift we can give another is that of vibrant health.
I'm a gardener in every sense of the word. I'm a lover of life, and I'm always looking to grow. Radiant health is our birthright. In today's modern world it is something we need to earn. On a daily bases we are bombarded with elements that challenge our health and it takes effort to remain in balance. Using acupuncture, herbs, supplements, diet modifications, and stress relieving techniques, I have found a way to not only survive, but to thrive. I'm passionate about sharing these tools with others.
MY HEALING JOURNEY
My story begins like so many others. I just didn’t know. I contracted a bacterial infection that greatly damaged my gut, then took an abundance of antibiotics to kill it. After that episode I was left with severe IBS, had several woman’s health issues, then lived in a house with black mold. While working on detoxing from the mold I discovered I had heavy metal poisoning. Some of the concurrent illnesses I experienced at this time were chronic fatigue & pain, chemical sensitivity, cognitive decline, severe food allergies, chronic migraines, and depression. With that said, I’ve healed myself from all of it from the inside out. It took a lot of research, self inquiry and solid dedication. There's not a day that goes by that I don’t choose health, because at the end of the day it all begins with a choice, and that journey begins from within.
Arielle Caruso is a Doctor of Acupuncture & Chinese Medicine, and licensed Acupuncturist. She received her degree from Pacific College of Health & Sciences and received her undergraduate degree in Art History from Arizona State University. She is certified in Reiki Level 1, and has done many hours of study in massage and the art of conscious connecting. Prior to her career in medicine she was an acroyoga instructor, outdoor guide, and art dealer in New York, where she sold modern and contemporary masters.
Arielle is a powerful healer. She has an intuitive nature that allows her to get to the root of your issue, instead of just treating symptoms. My sessions with her have always yielded not only powerful physical results, but emotional as well. I leave feeling uplifted and optimistic. She is a healer through and through.
I can't recommend her highly enough.
Arielle is a rockstar. She really knows how to fuse eastern and western medicine in an integrated way. When I go to see her for treatments, I feel confident that she is treating me while taking into account ancient eastern tradition and current western science and medicine. She weighs all options from both sides and presents them in a clear and digestible way and offers what she believes is the best course of action. Her intuition is strong and she uses it in combination with her vast knowledge.
I always feel like I'm in excellent and loving hands when I'm in her care.
